In a recent study by On Numbers, the statistical arm of The Business Journals, the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex came in 4th on the nation’s most populous cities list behind New York, L.A., and Chicago.  DFW currently has an estimated 6,554,919 people, which is 183,146 more people than was counted in the 2010 U.S. Census.  If this data is correct that means an average of 500 people a day are moving to DFW!

In a related study, also conducted by On Numbers, Dallas/Ft. Worth ranked number 5 in the best places for young adults to get started behind Austin, Houston, Washington, and Raleigh.  The study looked at population growth, per capita income, and jobless rates among other things.  With three of the five top cities located in Texas it proves this state has become the new frontier for opportunity.   As more people continue to move to this area to start a new life, Grand Homes will be there to help them find a home!
