Feature of the Week: Entryways

As a way to share the Grand Homes design aesthetic and style choices with the public, we are rolling out a weekly blog post that will highlight one of the high-style design features available with the purchase of a Grand Home.  These updates will include anything from back splash tiles to outdoor patios.  So if your looking for inspiration, or just want to get a glimpse of what Grand Homes has to offer, be sure to follow our blog or check our Facebook and Twitter accounts weekly.

In addition to design features, we will also be showcasing Communities, Red Tag Homes, and promotions to keep prospective home buyers updated on what’s happening at Grand Homes.  And, for anyone who has a specific question or request please make sure to leave a comment for us.

This week we are featuring different Entryways on some of our most popular floor plans.

Hamptons:  This gorgeous double staircase creates dramatic impact as the first thing you see when you walk in the door.  The tile-fronted risers combined with hardwood treads give the stairs an extra level of sophistication that guests are sure to notice.  From the landing the staircases frame the entrance to the living room beautifully as you’re  drawn to the back of the house.  This is a truly grand entryway and is part of our Hamptons floor plan available in McCreary Creek.

Grand Avery II:  The beautiful patchwork floor is a lovely detail that welcomes you in and leads you into the heart of the home.  A striking curved staircase showcasing wrought iron balusters and stained oak treads helps to divide the front living areas while adding great architectural detail. The high ceilings adorned with crown moulding draw your eye up allowing you to take everything in.  This entryway is part of the Grand Avery II floor plan available in Hills of Kingswood.

Grand Lantana:  This entryway has an entirely open concept.  Once you enter the house you can see all the way to the other side, and it really gives the home an airy and spacious feel.  The gorgeous wood floors extend to all lower level living and dining areas making everything feel cohesive and unified.  This entryway is part of our best selling floor plan, The Grand Lantana, and is available in 15 communities around the metroplex.

Grand Ashford: The elevated hardwood landing in this entryway is very unique in Grand Homes.  It separates the entry into distinct areas that make the space look big yet intimate at the same time.  The entryway is highlighted by gourgeous hardwood floors, a side living area with a floor-to-cieling cast-stone fire place, and wine storage area under the staircase. This is part of our Grand Ashford floor plan and is available in McCreary Creek, Newton Ranch, and Silverleaf.
