Fun Things To Do in Dallas for Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is a symbolic start to summer for most. Many take trips to the lake, or a weekend getaway  but if a vacation isn’t in the cards for you this weekend, don’t worry, there are plenty of fun things to do around the metroplex for Memorial Day.

Friday, May 25 – Watch Jumanji Under The Stars at The Star, Frisco, TX
The Star in Frisco will be screening the movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (yes, the one with The Rock). Grab some friends and some snacks and enjoy the movie.

Friday, May 25- Sunday May 27 – National Polka Festival, Ennis, TX
Enjoy a good time dancing and listening to Polka Music at the National Polka Festival. Fourteen Bands will play throughout the weekend. Take part in other events including the 5K, 10K, Parade, and dance contest
Cost: $9

Saturday, May 26 – Deep Ellum Mimosa Walk, Downtown Dallas
Sample Mimosas as you explore Deep Ellum. Make sure you register beforehand to save $10
Cost: $15 in advance, $25 the day of

Saturday, May 26 and Sunday May 27- Thai Culture and Food Festival, Buddhist Temple of Dallas
If you love Thai food, you’ll love this festival where you can try new foods, learn about the Thai culture and take a tour of the temple
Cost: Free

Sunday, May 27- See Justin Timberlake in Concert
Memorial Weekend just got a little better because Justin’s Man of the Woods tour stops in Dallas at the American Airline Center. Relive your childhood with songs from the early 2000’s
Cost: Tickets start at $85
