This is but one example of a good estate that can become your legacy. There are so many others to choose from; but the bottom line is to choose one that can withstand the test of time, both aesthetically and structurally.
There are also homes that haven’t been completed that you could consider. This should give you the freedom to incorporate your own design or preferences into the layout. The key is to look for a home builder you can work with and completely trust.
Ultimately, your choice of home builder will greatly affect the choices that you have and the quality of the homes that you get to choose from. That’s why you should choose your builder wisely.

If you think you’ve seen our Mira Lagos model home, think again! We’ve made some changes to our Grand Emerald III floor plan and are excited to see what you think! The biggest change you will notice is the minimization of the three car garage to a two car garage in order to make the kitchen and utility room bigger. This also allowed us more space for the addition of a mud cabinet. We also installed new nail down hardwood flooring downstairs, on the catwalk and in the upstairs gameroom. Also upstairs, we’ve completely redecorated the children’s rooms and utilized our LifeSpace option to convert the 5th bedroom into an additional study.
If you have never been to Mira Lagos, it’s a beautiful master-planned community just off the shores of Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie. A series of lakes, waterways, fountains, and greenbelts flow through this neighborhood preserving a naturally serene setting. The Grand Homes neighborhood is adjacent to one of three amenity centers and is near the exemplary Anna Mae Daulton Elementary School. Amenities include swimming pools, playgrounds, jogging paths, sports fields, and lots more!
Hurry! Plans are in the works for a new phase here but as of right now there are only two Grand lots in Mira Lagos left for sale! With these lots comes the opportunity to build new and be a part of the construction process. Looking to move sooner? We have an extremely limited number of homes that are ready or will soon be ready for move in.
We’d love for you to stop by and see all the new additions to the model for yourself. Our redecorated model home is located at 3003 England Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX 75054. Come see us this weekend for our Pre-Grand Opening event and take advantage of our current promotions before it’s too late!

If you’re in the market for a new home in Dallas, there’s good news – Dallas was recently ranked in the top healthiest markets in the country for a new home, according to BUILDER Magazine. The Dallas metroplex added 50,800 jobs, almost a two percent increase in employment, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics named Dallas a “rebounding economy.”
Dallas continues to thrive because of the strong employment and affordable housing, drawing people and businesses here. At the year’s end the median home price was $149,000, just short of where it was during the peak of the market. More plans to develop the city’s downtown to cater to young professionals are in the works.
BUILDER Magazine expects a 52% increase in building, as builders and developers such as Grand Homes has added land to keep up with the demand for new homes in Dallas. Grand Homes is now opening new home communities in Ft. Worth, Prosper, Frisco, The Colony and Savannah.

Second-quarter Texas home sales rose for the third period in a row compared to year-earlier transactions, the Texas Association of Realtors said Monday.
Existing single-family home sales were up 14 percent from second quarter 2009.
Sales increased 12.38 percent in Dallas, 14.9 percent in Fort Worth, 20.32 percent in Irving and 20.77 percent in Garland, according to the quarterly report. Sales also rose by 11.01 percent in Collin County and 18.45 percent in Denton County.
The Realtors attributed the increase to an improving economy in the state and a jump in homebuying caused by federal tax credits, which expired in April.
”We’re encouraged to see continued strength in Texas’ real estate market as 2010 marches forward,” Texas Association of Realtors chairman Bill Jones said in the report.
Statewide median home sales prices were virtually unchanged at $149,200.
