When you purchase a Grand Home in it’s early phases you have the opportunity to customize any thing from stone/brick and cabinetry to  flooring and color schemes.  This is one of the services that makes buying one of our homes truly unique, and it’s one of our customers’ favorite parts of the home-buying process.  Because the Design Studio appointment is such a valued experience for both our customers and us, we decided to find out more about it.

We recently made a visit to our Design Studio to talk to some of our Consultants about what finishes and features our customers were selecting.  With the plethora of options to choose from,  we wanted to know what was most popular among granite and tile, wood and carpet and so on.   What did we discover?  Our customers have great taste! With the holiday season being a time for families and friends to gather and enjoy one another’s company, we thought it was the perfect time to feature one of our most sought after living spaces: the gameroom.  Gamerooms are versatile spaces perfect for entertaining both adults and kids. Whether your enjoying cocktails, playing a game of pool, or playing Monopoly your gameroom is a great setting for social occasions. So lets take a look at the most fun room in the house.

Hamptons: This large scale entertaining space is great for big gatherings. The space is very functional because it is broken up into designated zones for lounging, gaming, and drink preparation, but is still very integrated so everyone feels together.

Ellingsworth: This is a more quaint entertaining space adjacent to a media room. This room is great for many different uses because there is more freedom to decide how the space will serve your needs best.

Grand Ashford: This gameroom is ideal for lounging, enjoying a beverage and having conversation. It’s also perfect for playing board games with the kids with its circular seating design.

Sorrellwood: This is a classic gameroom setup with a bar, pool table and media area.  You can enjoy the football game while you play a round of pool with your friends. This open concept makes it possible for everyone to enjoy everything at the same time.
