Good news for Texas: October showed the largest increase of jobs since May, adding 47,000 jobs in the state.  Tom Pauken, TWC chairman said every big industry added jobs the past month, with the most notable increases in construction.

With an 8,800 job increase, the construction industry showed the largest gain since April.

The construction sector incased 1.6 percent, marking the fastest gain of all other major categories. (more…)
